DGO Annual AGM and Trade Show - March 10, 2012

Dear Denturist Colleagues,
The Denturist Group of Ontario would like to invite you to our annual AGM and trade show on March 10, 2012. This is our second year with a bigger and better venue. Come out to hear what we have achieved this year, meet your friends and colleagues and see many more suppliers and exhibitors. We have a couple of seminars for you to attend and lots of prizes to be won, so don't miss out, come to Denturist Group 2012 AGM enhance your professional senses. CE credits for seminars and attendance will be provided not to mention a super lunch and free parking of course. Please register by March 1,2012 hotel rooms are limited, we want to see all of you.

2011 DGO Continuing Education Seminars

Thank you for your support and confidence in the Denturist Group. We are pleased to inform you that we have set up a series of continuing education seminars at the Sheraton Toronto Hotel & Conference Centre. It will be a great opportunity to get together with your friends and colleagues to enhance your professional knowledge and skills. We hope to see all of you, as there are a wide range of topics to keep everyone focused on the enhancement of our profession. Continuing education credits will be provided for all seminars.

DGO Continuing Education Summit

Dear DGO Members,
I hope all of you had a good summer with your families, it will be back to work soon, so the DGO would like to unveil it's fall continuing education program.
It will commence on Thursday November 10, 2011 from 6:30pm till 11:30pm and continue on Friday November 11, 2011 from 9:00am till 7:00pm at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel, 801 Dixon Rd. There will be a wide variety of courses and manufacturers to keep all of you interested. We will be at the Airport Sheraton in the McIntosh room, detailed information to follow in a mailout in a few weeks.
The cost for this event will be 100 dollars which includes food and parking. New registrants to the profession are also invited to attend at the same rate. Non members may attend but space is limited, cost will be $350.00. We have booked rooms at the Sheraton for a very good rate, but we need confirmation by November 1st, 2011 so we can accommodate everyone.
If you are planning to attend please let us know as soon as possible so we can organize and plan accordingly.

1st Annual DGO Picnic

Dear DGO Members,
On behalf of the DGO board and myself, we wish all of you and your families Happy Canada Day. It is my pleasure to invite you and your family to the first ever DGO picnic. The picnic will take place on Saturday July 16 starting at 12:00 noon. There will be games, food and lots of fun for the whole family; in addition, the DGO board will be unveiling some exciting news for the fall season. Annual General Meeting

Thank you for your support and confidence in the Denturist Group. We are pleased to inform you that a date has been set for our annual general meeting for 2011, Friday, March 4th at the Sheraton Toronto Airport & Conference Centre. We invite all of you and hope to see you, as we will be unveiling our new Association.
We will be starting at 1:30 in the MacIntosh room where lunch has been graciously sponsored by Eugene Cerkowynk of the Co-operators Insurance Company. Our meeting will go through till 6pm, we will have question and answer period for all topics and there will be representatives from the Co-operators as well as the College of Denturists. We will be handing out an agenda at the meeting, if you have any concerns or questions please feel free to contact us before March lst so we can add it to the agenda. Valet and metered parking available. See you all there.

Insurance Form Approval
January 27th, 2011
This letter is to inform all dental insurance providers that a new insurance form has been approved by the College of Denturists of Ontario, for use in the submission of claims by Denturists in Ontario. This new form is to be used in conjunction with the college registrants' certificate of registration license number, and will be made available to all Denturists registered with the College of Denturists of Ontario.
